Although Hydra already comes packed with more features than any other browser on the market, there's always some room left for new additions and improvements, especialy if they are useful and attractive. One such idea is the integration of video sharing services right into Hydra. For now, I'll stick to several most popular ones, namely YouTube, Google Video, Metacafe and Break.com. You can see the pictures below to get an idea how this will look like. Apart from that, you'll be able to download the movie for offline viewing, as well to convert it on the fly to some of the widely supported formats, such as AVI or MPEG (or extract MP3 from the video. There's also a new downloader with support for segmented downloads and mirrors. Here is a screenshot showing videos from Metacafe incorporated in Hydra Video Ribbon:
I hope the idea is pretty much clear - you choose the desired submenu and the list of movies loads on the right, with movie thumbnail, name, author and category. Clicking on a movie name/thumbnail you're loading a movie into the player on the left. Buttons below the embedded player are for downloading, converting and organizing movies.
I hope you'll enjoy Hydra even more with this new version. If you have some brilliant idea on how to improve Hydra please be so kind to visit HydraBrowser.org gateway and leave your proposals there.
